Today's Treasures

When we finished at the Princess May school boot fair it was still relatively early, around 10.30am so we jumped on the tube and went back to the Capital Car boot in Pimlico which we visited last Sunday. By the time we got there the sun was starting to shine, perfect to hunt out some treasures.

Capital Car Boot:

Black high waisted netted skirt £6
Vintage weekend case £5
Silk Sailor shirt £3

Princess May Boot Fair

Blue 1950's style shirt £1
Polaroid sunglasses case £1 (going to use the case for the Burberry sunglasses that I brought last week)

Please feel free to leave your comments or email me at felicitybell@live.co.uk about any boot fairs you would recommend or any questions on those that I have visited so far. Thank you

The London Car Boot Co. Princess May School

This morning despite the weather being very wet and grey we went to the boot fair in Dalston at the Princess May school. On arrival at 9.30am (we got in for 50p!!) there didn't seem to be many people selling, unfortunately they had been there since 7am where the weather was a lot worse and tends to put people off from selling at car boot sales. I mean standing in the cold and rain is no fun. However the playgrounds look like great potential to have a lot more sellers! Found a few bargains but also some higher prices for the designer goods. Will definitely be returning when the weather is better.

My car boot sale outfit

This mornings car boot sale I wore:

Levi's Jacket £9 from Polegate
Polka dot jumpsuit £3 from Capital Car Boot
Vintage leather shoulder bag £5 from Battersea

Love this outfit made up of my little treasures!

Capital Carboot

Today the boy and I made a trip to Pimlico to check out the Capital Carboot. On arrival there was a que of people waiting for 11.30am to gain entry for £1, we joined this que and then the rush when we were let in. The weather was dry and even saw the sun shining so there were plenty of stalls outside as well as in. Something I've learn having been to many boot fairs, the better the area the better the Carboot. This being in the SW postcode area the stalls were selling plenty of designer goods for great prices (even saw a woman selling very vintage Jimmy Choos, unfortunately not in my size) definitely worth a visit to pick up some bargains. Hope you enjoy the photos.

The next adventure

I haven't been to a car boot for a while as have been busy at the weekends but I'm back and ready to explore what London has to offer this summer. This Sunday me and the boy will be going to the Capital Car boot sale in Pimlico. I've never been to this one before and very excited to see what little treasures I will find. It's on every week with stalls indoor and outdoor come rain or shine. Early bird buyers entry is at 10.15am £5 and public entry is 11.30am until 3.30pm £1! Look out for photos from Pimlico and of our little treasures!
