Country style treasures

There is one thing that always stands out to me when I go to these markets and fairs are little treasures for your home. Having recently moved in with Hugh, I am always on the look out for treasures for our home. While in the Antiques Bazzar I came across a stall full of gorgeous and delightful bits for your home and for gifts. There were beautiful little tea lights, decorative bunting, hand made soap, delicate boxes and all sorts of pretty little things that you want to fill your home with. Hatty's Attic sources items from all over England and Europe and some items are designed by the owner offering a unique and special item. It has a great little website too which you can even order online and get delivered.

Country Life

Happy New Year!
Looking forward to visiting many car boot sales, markets and fairs in 2013!

This weekend Hugh and I visited his dad and wife at their home in the west country to exchange christmas gifts and to eat more yummy food! They live in a very quaint town called Somerton where all you can hear are the birds and the trees. We enjoyed long peaceful walks across the country fields (Wellies were a must) and cosy afternoons in front of the log fire. Yesterday they took us to the Antiques Bazaar in The Old Textile Mill in Crewkerne which was filled with collectables, antiques, Interiors and vintage goods. A quirky warehouse that displays a wide selection of professional traders that is not that big but is great size to have a good old rummage. There is also a beautiful little cafe to enjoy hot buttered tea cakes and hot chocolates with mashmellows YUM!

I hope you enjoy the photos from the market, worth a visit if your in the West Country
